In my constant movement through different musical genres and styles, my love for “traditional” music, and in particular for Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, coexists with my interest for modern and contemporary experiences.
I try to maintain my critical spirit sifting it through the need of repertoire and performance renewal. My programmes are strongly conditioned by the need of juxtaposing or counterpoising works from different ages, and I usually draw from the (wrongly) called minor repertoire: Respighi, Casella, Busoni, Malipiero, Ghedini, Petrassi, along with Hindemith, Falla, Eisler, Walton, Britten, Varése, Antheil, and Ives.
